“Noong Disyembre 2012, pumunta ako sa Pilipinas sa unang pagkakataon para sa 6 na linggo ng volunteer exchange. Isa sa mga kaibigan na ito ay ang aking kasintahan na nandito ngayon na si Ria.
Noong 2013 at 2014 bumalik ako para mag-travel kasama si Ria. Na-experience ko ang kultura ng mga tao, pagkain, at ang natural na ganda ng Pilipinas pero may isang bagay pa rin na kulang – hindi ako nakakaintindi ng Tagalog. Para lalo kong maintindihan ang bayan at kultura ni Ria, nag-decide ako na mag-aaral ako ng Tagalog sa 2015. Ito ang nagdala sa akin sa Enderun. Si Bb. Starting to learn a new language is very hard, but it is so exciting because it demands thinking.
I’m Ehsan from Iran. My first language is Persian. Coming to Enderun, I was so scared because I can’t speak English with my teacher and classmates. I want to learn English because I want to go to university.
Three months after my arrival in this country, I started my English classes at Enderun Colleges. My classes were held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I only had six hours in the class. In my classes, I had to talk to a partner and my teacher became my partner. I made mistakes in my pronunciation, but I worked hard and my teacher helped me a lot. I was able to speak with good pronunciation and fewer mistakes than before.
